What is NLP?
NLP is a synthetis of the right attitude and techniques that enable you to understand how your mind works, how to replicate excellence in any context and therefore achieve excellent results. It is a study of what works and what doesn't in communication, thinking, language and behaviour. NLP derives from work of Richard Bandler and John Grinder in 1970's. They are co-creators of NLP and their initial intent was to find the most integrated and effective approach to therapy by looking at the natural process by which people make mental changes. They looked at neuro - logical configurations, the linguistic structures that are hard wired in the mind and they were interested in how people learn. Their idea was to enable people to program themselves just like we can program computers, in a positive way. NLP is the bridge between wishful thinking and results. NLP is often called the study of the structure of subjectivity. In other words, NLP is interested in how people translate word individually and with this information, it turned excellence into replicable process. All the little details of how we create pictures in our mind, use voices in our head, motion of feelings etc. give us a great set of tools via which we can make a profoud changes very quickly and easily.
Using NLP Although NLP was initially created as a therapy model, today it is widely used to achieve excellent results in business, sales, career development, education, parenting, sport performance etc, in fact anywhere where communication - with self or others - is involved. This is because NLP is, at its core, the study of excellence. By learning NLP and using its principles you can become excellent in any area of your life or business. And that's pretty profound, don't you think? 12 Ways to Use NLP We often say that NLP is what you make it. And it's a whole lot of other things as well. Here are just some of the ways how you can use NLP: As an amazing tool to acquire new capabilities. As a way to change perceptions of experiences. As a way to control unconscious mind. As "the power tools" in business. As a persuading capability. As skill modeling tools. As rapid learning. As awareness. As creativity. As healing As fun! NLP for You All of our NLP Programmes, even if they are business oriented, will start with personal applications. It is only by learning how people manage and coach that it becomes possible to learn how to manage and coach others. What are sometimes described as the ‘pillars of NLP’ are: awareness, sensitivity, outcome thinking and rapport. But the heart of NLP is the process of modelling. What most people do not realise is that the excellence that they have in some areas of their life can be mapped across into other areas. In this way NLP techniques can help them learn how to be alive and excellent in all of life. People attending our NLP programmes regularly comment on: * an increased sense of well-being NLP helps people learn that the only person they can change is themselves, but that in doing so it is possible to influence the bigger system of which they are a part.

You will feel better. If you carry any unnecessary emotional baggage, you will get rid of it. You will be empowered to make your life exactly the way you want it. You will know how to deal with challenges that you may come across.
"Success is not to be achieved or persued. It is to be attracted by the person you become." This famous saying of Jim Rohn focuses on fact that the major key to greater level of success - what ever it means to you - is your own self development. The major key to your better relationships is YOU. The major key to your ability to help and assist others is YOU. The major key to better income is YOU. The major key to better management of others is YOU. The major key to your better future is YOU. No metter what is that you want to achieve in your life or work, you can do so only by working on yourself. You must change yourself enough to be able to change other things. How does the change happen? The basis of NLP is that all behaviour is rooted in the unconscious mind. The unconscious mind is the bit of the brain that is still awake and fully functioning when we are sleeping. The unconscious mind stores all our memories, processes all our experiences, filters everything we feel, hear, see, taste and smell, and it attaches emotion to everything we do. NLP allows us to access the unconscious mind easily and make changes there. That way, change is easy and learning is simple. You may ask "Yes, but how specifically do the changes occur?" The answer is through learning. Everytime we learn something we make new neural connections in our brain. Instantly. Too good to be true you might say? Well, think about it. If someone gets bitten by dog, they might well get a phobia instantly about dogs - and you would probably think it's reasonable. So a phobia can be created instantly. A phobia is a learnt behaviour. The brain cannot differentiate between a wanted or unwanted behaviour. It just does things to get results. So, similarly, you can learn positive behaviours instantly too. For example, if you wear a new perfume or aftershave and everyone comments how great it is, you may automatically start using it every day. Every time you have an "Aha" moment, a moment of realisation, your brain makes a new connection - you are learning. Remember those pictures, stereograms, you had to defocus your eyes to see the image and when you did you said "YES I see it now"? That's the "Aha" moment when your brain creates new patterns for learning. We can have many 1000,s of those a day - perpetual learning and perpetual change. You will experience plenty of 'Aha' moments during your NLP Practitioner Course, and that is how you'll change. Everything you want is outside of your Comfortable Zone A baby elephant is trained at birth to be confined to a very small space. Its trainer will tie its leg with a rope to a wooden post planted deep in the ground. This confines the baby elephant to an area determined by the length of the rope. Though the baby elephant will initially try to break the rope, the rope is too strong, and so the baby elephant learns that it can’t break the rope. It learns that it has to stay in the area defined by the length of the rope. NLP is all about getting out of Comfortable Zone. Although Comfortable Zone is comfortable (that is why it's called comfortable zone), it is also a very dangereous place to be as it totally prevents us from progressing towards our goals. All the things that you want are simply outside of it. Otherwise you would already have them, wouldn’t you? Get out of your comfortable zone today!
